Since life is always so uninteresting (or at least mine is) I have decided to entertain you by writing in pretty colours. I choose them at random, and I smile :D
My days are completely spent online, and not in the boring-do-nothing-but-facebooking way, the shit-its-summer-and-im-doing-schoolwork way. Now who's idea was it to sign up for online summer school for 2 courses so I can take an elective next year? uh, mine. So I'm just hoping that it'll be worth it.
Completely addicted to the Sims 2 Deluxe. I love making drama in the family. One teenage girl dyed her hair black, and then her sister came in and started slapping and lecturing her. That was pretty amusing, and a lot like real life. Except my family is accepting the fact that I keep dying my hair oddly, and are patiently waiting for me to stop.
Well, I have schoolwork to do (in the middle of the summer! :0)

* The sad thing about my life is that I am using this to kill 15 minutes before watching 2 Family Guy episodes. Yes, it's really that sad. TV has made slaves of us all, living on half-hour schedules.*
Last night headed out to The Hill to watch awesome fireworks. No, seriously, these were pretty cool. Especially if you were high. Which we were not. We did run into some people who were drunk, but that's just typical teenagers for you (ooh! a stereotype!) We heard some random people yelling as loud as possible "Wingardium Leviosa!" and if that isn't drunken teenager, well, what is?
Have you ever tried leaving a parking lot after an event with 900+ people all leaving at once? Let's just say, it takes a while.
Headphones came out for the night and we ran around with lit sparklers. We're pyromaniacs (and we couldn't find the scissors) It's more amusing than you would think. Seriously, what's more fun thanm running around with a lit objects which also makes cool designs in the sky around you? At night? We stuck a few in the ground and lit them, and of course later I fell over them. Classic style. It rocked.
But that's not all we did. Oh no. We played ROCKBAND. Shows how lifeless I really am that I'm so very excited about that. Especially as I own the game and could play anytime I wanted. 3am, let's play Rockband! I call guitar! Aww!
Well, my time here to entertain you is up, I'm away laughing on a fast camel.

L: It seems these days like we need to document everything that happens in our everyday lives. Like we won't remember it.
H: True...It does get tiring sometimes...That probably why I have about 6 journals.
L: There's nothing really wrong with it, until we meet the extent. Sure, we want to remember things, but what about when we get so caught up in preserving it we never enjoy the actual moment itself? Like the 60billion camaraohones at a concert that only has 1 blilion people?
H: Then THAT'S way too far. Honestly, I hate snap happy people. Once in a while at a big event is OK, but the people who take pictures of everything every day get on my nerves. All they do is take pictures and then no one enjoys their company, and soon enough, they're a loner taking Myspace pictures of themselves all the time.
L: And then (with the age of digital this is much too common) you take all the pictures you can, and you come home, and you don't even remember what it was of. On a trip to NYC, I have these pictures of tall buildings that I could care less about, but in my own mind I wont forget the buildings themselves on the street of my hotel.
H: Exactly. I think we're repeating ourselves a bit here, so do you want to take a different route, complaining about different technology?
L: NO!! It's funny, but this is going a completely different path than I thought I would go, but I never plan.
I don't like digital. The pictures i have from the digital camera will be worthless to me in a few years, but the pictures I took with disposables and a REAL camera I will always treaure them and remember from when they were. I wish i brought a real cameraa to NYC. Now you can take another path, Headphones.
H: Don't you find it kind of hypocritical that we're complaning about technology on an INTERNET BLOG??? Which happens to be on a COMPUTER?
L: Nope. I love computers, I might want to be a programmer one day. I feel like I'm going in circles because there's two and we lead eachother astray. You can't really have a plan in your head like i did, it's like Improv. i think we;re confusing our (nonexistant) fans.
H: True. Have you ever thought about that little emoticon ---> =P ? Whenever you say something funny in real life, you don't smile and stick your tougne out the side of your mouth.
L: I do.
H:Try that in the next person-to-person conversation you have and see what happens. I dare you.
L: Well, the little guy is telling everyone that the situation is amusing, and it's really hard to create a guy that looks like its laughing. Here's some facts from the nerd. 65% of communication is through body language, 33% through tone of voice, and only 7% through the words themselves. So online, your only using 7% of your communcation thingies, and you need emoticons to show how youre feeling.
H: Which leads me to my next point: People should choose their words more carefully instead of relying on tone of voice and whatnot to convey their point.
L: Me, I kind of disagree with that, because it's human nature. We just need to adjust it to our online forms. Next lecture; Netiquette (from Lyndz)
<3--> Linds && Headphones.
(Conversation did not actually take place, we both sat side by side and communicated purely through the typage space. Love you too!)
